Job Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) vessel. Candidates with dredging vessel background will be prioritized, but experience on offshore, drilling, or large vessels (Tanker, LPG, LNG, Bulk Carrier, etc.) with international operators will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee safe and efficient operation of the engine department
• Supervise maintenance and repair of all machinery and systems onboard
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
• Lead and train engineering crew
• Report directly to the Master and company management
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum experience in senior engineering positions, dredging preferred
