PT Jasa Internasional Maritim is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join an ASD Tug. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the vessel's main propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and engine room systems.
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily engine department operations
Ensure safe operation of main and auxiliary machinery
Supervise engine room personnel
Carry out maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting
Maintain machinery records and operational documentation
Support planned maintenance activities
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Ensure compliance with company HSE and maritime requirements
Requirements
Indonesian nationality
Valid ATT I qualification
Previous experience as Chief Engineer on ASD Tug vessels
Experience in the same rank and vessel type is required
Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Valid Medical Certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical, leadership, and safety-management skills
