We are urgently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 416 GT Tug Boat operating between Malta and Nigeria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and management of the vessel’s engine room and machinery.
Candidates must be able to join in Malta without a visa, depending on nationality, or hold a valid Malta visa.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Managing the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s main and auxiliary machinery.
Supervising engine room operations and maintenance activities.
Ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained in operational condition.
Maintaining engine room records and complying with safety procedures.
Supporting safe vessel operations during the Malta–Nigeria voyage.
Requirements:
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency.
Relevant Tug Boat / Work Boat experience.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to join in Malta without a visa or hold a valid Malta visa.
Availability for immediate joining.
