AmanCare is hiring a Chief Engineer for a Towing Tug Vessel.
The candidate will oversee all engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and engineering crew supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing engine room operations and technical crew
• Ensuring safe operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
• Planning and performing maintenance activities
• Maintaining engineering logs and compliance records
• Supporting towing operations from the engineering perspective
Requirements:
• Valid STCW CE certificates
• Valid medical
• English proficiency
• Experience in Africa preferred
• Tug vessel experience required
• All certificates must be valid
