Job Description:
SA-World is seeking a Chief Engineer to manage all technical operations onboard a Pipe Lay Vessel. The successful candidate will ensure reliable performance and maintenance of all machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee engine room operations and maintenance.
Manage technical crew and ensure safety compliance.
Maintain logs, inventories, and maintenance schedules.
Supervise repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
Report technical status to shore management.
Requirements:
Valid STCW, COC (Chief Engineer).
Offshore vessel or DP vessel experience required.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English.
