Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our marine fleet operating within UK waters. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all technical operations, machinery performance, maintenance planning, and safe operation of the engine department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and supervise the engine room crew
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all vessel machinery
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
• Maintain engine logs, technical documentation and reports
• Ensure adherence to maritime safety, environmental and operational standards
Requirements:
• Valid Right to Work in the UK or UK Frontier Worker Permit (mandatory)
• STCW III/2 Chief Engineer CoC and valid STCW training
• ENG1 Medical + Seaman’s Book
• Strong English communication skills
• Previous offshore / commercial vessel experience in similar role
