The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing the engine room, machinery operations, and technical readiness throughout the voyage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise all engineering operations
• Ensure continuous operation of main and auxiliary machinery
• Manage fuel, lubes, and consumables
• Maintain technical logs and reports
Requirements:
• Valid STCW Certificates and Seaman’s Book
• Offshore medical fitness certificate
• Must have previous experience on DP2 vessels (mandatory)
• Good English communication skills
• All certificates must be valid
• Ability to work professionally within a multicultural crew
