A leading offshore vessel operator is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a CSOV operating in Norway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the engine department, machinery maintenance, technical operations, and ensuring safe and efficient vessel performance.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all engine room operations
Supervise engineering personnel
Maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Oversee maintenance planning and execution
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations
Manage engine room safety procedures
Maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
Experience on CSOV, SOV, OSV, or similar vessels
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and technical management skills
