Augustea International Crews is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Barge, Tug Boat, or Crew Boat operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the engine department and the safe, efficient operation of propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and technical systems onboard.

Job Responsibilities
Manage all engine-room operations.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Supervise engineering personnel and maintenance activities.
Implement and monitor planned maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve machinery defects and breakdowns.
Maintain engine-room records and technical documentation.
Manage spare parts and technical inventories.
Participate in emergency drills and inspections.
Ensure compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and company HSE procedures.
Requirements
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
Valid STCW certification package.
Previous experience as Chief Engineer on Barge, Tug Boat, Crew Boat, or similar vessel.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid passport and seaman's book.
Good English communication skills.
Strong technical, leadership, and safety skills.
Ready to join according to vessel requirements.
