We are recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to join an AHTS/Subsea Vessel operating in Norway. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the engine department, machinery and technical systems onboard.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the engine department.
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Oversee planned maintenance, inspections and repairs.
Ensure compliance with company SMS, safety and environmental procedures.
Manage technical documentation, spare parts and engine-room resources.
Lead machinery-related emergency response and drills.
Requirements
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
Previous experience as Chief Engineer on AHTS, Subsea or similar offshore vessels.
Strong knowledge of offshore vessel machinery and technical systems.
Valid medical certificate.
Good command of English.
Ability to work effectively within a multinational offshore crew.
