Job Description:
We are seeking a Chief Engineer for a DP2 AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) Vessel currently under drydock in Dubai. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall performance, reliability, and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion plant, power generation systems, auxiliary machinery, and engine room crew management. ADNOC-approved candidates or those with prior ADNOC project experience are preferred. The role requires strong leadership, troubleshooting capability, and adherence to safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all engineering operations and ensure safe and reliable machinery performance
• Plan, schedule, and supervise engine room maintenance and repair activities
• Maintain compliance with DP2 power management and redundancy requirements
• Supervise and train engine room crew and monitor performance standards
• Maintain technical documentation, PMS logs, and statutory reports

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates for Chief Engineer
• Medical fitness certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Previous experience as Chief Engineer on DP2 and/or AHTS vessels
• ADNOC project experience or approval is an advantage
