Job Description
A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join an Accommodation Vessel supporting offshore operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the engine department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of propulsion, auxiliary, and electrical systems while maintaining full compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for senior marine engineers with previous Accommodation Vessel or DP Offshore Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all engine room operations
Supervise engineering officers and ratings
Ensure safe operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs
Control engine department documentation and spare parts
Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE policies
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Maintain operational readiness of all machinery
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Engineer
Previous experience onboard Accommodation Vessels or DP Offshore Vessels
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong engineering management and leadership skills
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
