**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking an experienced **Chief Engineer** to join an **Accommodation Barge** operating in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise with **CAT engines** and **chilled water systems**, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable engine room operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing and managing all engine room operations
• Ensuring proper maintenance of CAT engines and chilled water systems
• Supervising engine room crew and delegating tasks effectively
• Maintaining compliance with STCW, ISM Code, and company HSE standards
• Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring minimal downtime

**Requirements:**
• Valid STCW certificates
• Seafarer’s medical fitness certificate
• Previous offshore barge experience as Chief Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with **CAT engines** and **chilled water systems**
• Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written)
