Viking is currently recruiting an experienced Head Waiter / Waitress to join its international cruise fleet.
The successful candidate will supervise dining-service activities and provide exceptional guest service in accordance with Viking's premium hospitality standards.
Cruise experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise assigned restaurant service operations.
Coordinate and support waiter/ess team members.
Ensure high standards of food and beverage service.
Handle guest requests and special dining requirements.
Assist with table assignments and service coordination.
Monitor cleanliness and presentation of dining areas.
Support VIP and special-event dining.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of 4-star or 5-star hotel experience.
Previous cruise experience preferred.
Strong food and beverage service experience.
Good English communication skills.
Excellent guest-service and leadership skills.
