MYS Aust is currently seeking an experienced Cook / Crew Chef to join a Private Motor Yacht operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for crew members, manage galley operations, maintain food hygiene standards, and assist with provisioning while ensuring efficient daily galley operations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced yacht or hospitality professionals with excellent culinary skills.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for crew members
Plan menus according to dietary requirements
Maintain galley cleanliness and hygiene
Manage food inventories and provisioning
Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation
Follow international food safety standards
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Support overall crew welfare onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as Crew Chef or Cook onboard Private or Motor Yachts preferred
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong culinary and organizational skills
Excellent hygiene and food safety knowledge
Physically and medically fit for sea service
