Job Summary:
We are seeking a Vessel Operator to monitor the performance of the vessel and other voyage details to ensure compliance with charter parties and the company’s Safety Management Manual (SMM). As the Vessel Operator, you will also update various safety performance and operations database of vessels.
Vessel Operator Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external partners for various owners matters (external: Charterers, brokers, agents, Class, Flag/Internal: Safety, Technical, Crewing, supplying department) to facilitate vessel operations
Issue hire statement, review port disbursement account and follow up with charterers/brokers/Agent for prompt settlement
Perform other tasks directed by the operation manager
Vessel Operator Requirements:
3 years of experience as an Operator of time charter dry bulk vessel
Must be proactive and a problem solver and troubleshooter
Organized, systematic and detail-oriented
Sea-going experience desirable preferred
