We are hiring an experienced Radio Operator for upcoming Jack-Up operations in Qatar. The candidate must hold a valid GMDSS Endorsement and have strong communication skills. Previous offshore or Jack-Up experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operating all communication systems (GMDSS, VHF, HF, satellite)
• Managing radio logs and emergency communication procedures
• Coordinating with marine, logistics, and offshore teams
• Monitoring weather, safety, and navigational alerts
• Supporting administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
• Valid GMDSS Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Offshore/Jack-Up background preferred
• Valid STCW certificates
• Offshore medical
• BOSIET/FOET (preferred)
• Fluent English communication
