A maritime operator is urgently seeking an experienced Motorman to join a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) for operations in Europe and the Netherlands.
The successful candidate will support the engineering department by assisting with engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and the safe operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems while ensuring compliance with international maritime safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for engine ratings with previous TSHD or dredging vessel experience who are available to join in August 2026.

Job Responsibilities
Assist engineering officers with engine room operations
Operate and maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
Monitor machinery performance and report defects
Maintain cleanliness and safety within the engine room
Assist with repairs and emergency maintenance
Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
Follow company HSE policies and international maritime regulations
Requirements
Previous experience as Motorman in the same rank
Experience onboard TSHD vessels is welcomed
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness
Ability to work effectively within a multinational crew
