A leading offshore marine contractor is seeking an experienced Motorman / Welder to join a Jack-Up vessel operating in Taiwan.
The successful candidate will combine engine room and welding duties, supporting machinery maintenance, repair, fabrication, and general offshore vessel operations.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with engine room machinery operation and maintenance
Perform routine inspections and engine room duties
Carry out welding, fabrication, and repair activities
Support mechanical maintenance and equipment repairs
Assist with workshop activities and maintenance tasks
Maintain tools, equipment, and working areas
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills
Follow welding, engine room, HSE, and vessel safety procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as Motorman / Welder
Proven Jack-Up vessel or offshore experience
Relevant engine rating qualifications
Proven welding and fabrication experience
Relevant welding certification where applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ILO Medical Certificate
Valid passport and Seaman's Book
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
Malaysian nationality preferred
