A leading offshore marine contractor is seeking an experienced Motorman to join a Jack-Up vessel operating in Taiwan.
The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with machinery monitoring, maintenance, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and general engine room duties.
Job Responsibilities
Assist engineers with engine room operations
Perform routine machinery rounds and inspections
Assist with maintenance and repair activities
Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and preservation work
Maintain engine room equipment and working areas
Support machinery overhauls and planned maintenance
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Follow engine room HSE and safe working procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as Motorman on offshore / Jack-Up vessels
Proven Jack-Up vessel experience
Valid engine rating certification
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ILO Medical Certificate
Valid passport and Seaman's Book
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
Malaysian nationality preferred
