As a 2nd Motorman, you will be performing the following activities:
• Ensure that equipment failure is kept to a minimum and within contractual limits;
Ensure compliance with HSE Management System for safe, efficient operations;
• Ensure the motor room is kept clean and all equipment is properly stowed;
• Ensure all maintenance operations are safe, and correct or notify persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions:
• Maintain the engine room daily operating logs:
•Ensure all compound components are regularly oiled/lubricated and rotated;
• General maintenance around the engine room area, keep motor room and machinery clean and painted.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience within the dredging sector;
2 years of experience working in an Offshore development project;
Type A seaman's book holder;
Certificate of Competence (motorman):
STCW Basic Certificates.
