A reputable shipping company is seeking an experienced Master to join a Turkish-flagged Tug Boat.
The vessel is 573 GT, built in 2009, and equipped with 2 × 2,000 HP main engines with a 52.35 MT bollard pull. Turkish personnel are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Take overall command of the vessel and crew
• Conduct safe navigation, manoeuvring, towing, berthing, and unberthing operations
• Supervise deck operations and crew performance
• Ensure compliance with Turkish Flag State, STCW, safety, and company procedures
• Maintain vessel safety, emergency preparedness, and operational readiness
• Coordinate towing and harbour operations
Requirements
• Valid Master Certificate of Competency
• Minimum 500 GT qualification required
• Previous Tug Boat / Harbour Tug experience preferred
• Strong towing and manoeuvring experience
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Passport, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and safety awareness
• Turkish personnel preferred
