A leading offshore vessel operator is seeking an experienced Master to join a CSOV operating in Norway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command, safe navigation, offshore operations support, crew management, and compliance with international maritime and offshore safety regulations.
This position is ideal for senior maritime professionals with offshore vessel experience and strong leadership capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain overall command of the vessel
Ensure safe navigation and voyage planning
Supervise offshore and marine operations
Manage vessel personnel and onboard administration
Ensure compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company procedures
Coordinate emergency response and safety management
Liaise with clients, offshore installations, and authorities
Ensure safe and efficient vessel operations
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
Experience on CSOV, SOV, OSV, MPSV, or similar vessels
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
