Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking an experienced Master to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation and overall command of the vessel, offshore marine operations, crew management, and compliance with international maritime and offshore safety regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for Masters with extensive experience onboard DP2 Accommodation Work Boats or similar offshore support vessels.
Job Responsibilities
Command and safely navigate the vessel during offshore operations
Lead bridge team and oversee vessel operations
Coordinate DP and offshore support activities
Supervise crew performance and onboard discipline
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations
Maintain operational readiness and emergency preparedness
Manage documentation, reporting, and communication with shore management
Promote a strong safety culture onboard
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Master on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels
Valid Certificate of Competency (Master)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid Rigging & Slinging Certificate
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and offshore operational experience
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
