The Barge Foreman will supervise deck crew and ensure safe daily operations on the barge, including rigging activities, crane operations, cargo handling, and support for barge movement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead deck crew and manage daily deck tasks
• Coordinate lifting operations with crane operators
• Ensure safe rigging practices and permit-to-work compliance
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs
• Support marine operations during towing and positioning
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience as Barge Foreman / Deck Supervisor
• Offshore certification (BOSIET/FOET, Medical)
• Strong rigging and lifting competence
• Ability to supervise multinational crew
