Job Summary:
We are seeking and Assistant Engineer to manage all mechanical equipment to ensure the vessel has light, heat, and power.
Assistant Engineer Responsibilities:
Manage the speed, direction, and control of the vessel
Record data of water levels, temp or pressure, temp of equipment, and fuel consumed
Always be aware of manual controls and override automatic controls to move equipment into operating ranges
Supervise all drills and emergency procedures
Assistant Engineer Requirements:
Resume w/applicable experience
MMC w/following endorsements
Advance Fire Fighting
VPDSD
Medical First-Aid Provider
Person-in-Charge of Medical Care
Unlimited endorsement
OICEW
RFPEW
TWIC
Passport
COVID vaccination
