Ires Ship Management is recruiting an experienced QC Engineer to support quality control activities onboard an Accommodation Work Barge.
The successful candidate will monitor construction and maintenance activities, ensure compliance with approved specifications, and maintain quality documentation throughout the project.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections of offshore work activities.
Monitor fabrication, welding, fitting, and structural works.
Review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation.
Monitor compliance with approved procedures.
Coordinate inspections with project and client representatives.
Identify non-conformities and follow corrective actions.
Support project quality audits and reporting.
Requirements
Relevant engineering or quality-control qualification.
Previous offshore construction experience.
Experience with fabrication, welding, structural, or marine projects.
Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and inspection documentation.
Good English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Relevant industry certifications where applicable.
Valid offshore medical and safety certificates where required.
