The Captain is responsible for the safe navigation, operation, and overall command of the tug boat. This role ensures compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations, company policies, and operational requirements while leading the crew during towing and harbor operations.
Requirements
Valid USCG Master License appropriate to vessel tonnage
Proven tug boat experience in U.S. waters
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Valid STCW certificates and U.S. medical
Excellent knowledge of safety and towing operations
