Job Description
A leading marine transportation company is seeking an experienced Captain to join its Offshore Vessel fleet operating in the United States.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation, operation, and management of the vessel while ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, company policies, and safety management systems. The Captain will lead the onboard crew and oversee all vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Command and operate the vessel safely and efficiently
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures
Manage navigation, voyage planning, and vessel operations
Supervise and coordinate all onboard departments
Conduct safety meetings, drills, and emergency response activities
Maintain effective communication with shore management
Promote a strong safety culture onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as Captain on offshore vessels
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate for rank
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good command of English
Ability to work in a multinational crew environment
