Job Description:
Spliethoff is hiring a Second Cook to support galley operations aboard its Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV). The successful candidate will assist the Chief Cook in daily meal preparation and maintain hygiene standards onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Chief Cook in preparing and serving meals
• Maintain cleanliness in the galley and mess areas
• Manage dishwashing and waste disposal duties
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Help manage stock and provisions when required
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Basic knowledge of cooking and galley safety
• English communication skills required
• Experience with European crew preferred
