Description
Serve as the senior leader on the offshore drilling rig, responsible for overall management and supervision of rig operations
Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel on board the rig
Oversee drilling and production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to schedule
Manage and supervise rig crew, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including environmental, safety, and industry standards
Coordinate with onshore management, clients, and regulatory authorities as necessary
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring readiness to respond to emergencies effectively
Monitor rig performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
Maintain accurate records of rig operations, safety incidents, equipment maintenance, and other relevant information
Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork among rig crew members
