Qualification requirements
Experience:
◾ Minimum 7 years of offshore experience on drilling units
Certification requirements:
◾ Training according to Training Matrix
◾ Certificate of Competency – STCW A-II/2 Master Unlimited
◾ Certified in Management of Major Emergencies or equivalent as per area of operation
◾ Formal training in incident investigation techniques and methodologies
◾ Certified as Unit/Ship Security Officer – STCW A-VI/5 – to act as deputy
Additional Skills:
◾ Good interpersonal skills – ability to communicate at all levels
◾ Conversant with environmental management, quality management and safety management principles
◾ Computer Literate
◾ Good verbal and written English skills
