his job role will manage the operations with the main engines and on auxiliary systems onboard the vessel.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance of the vessels auxiliary, propulsion, and other mechanical systems on board the vessel
Clean the engine scavenge air box and lube and fuel oil filters/purifiers
Assist with rigging and crane operations
Clean engine rooms, living spaces, and decks
Paint, scrape, and chip equipment and structures
Lubricate oils and transferring oil and bunkers to other vessels
