A leading maritime company is seeking an experienced Oiler to join an Ultra Deep Water Drillship DP3 operating on offshore projects.
The successful candidate will assist the engine department with machinery monitoring, routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and general engine room operations.
Job Responsibilities
Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of machinery
Perform routine engine room rounds and inspections
Assist with lubrication, cleaning, and preservation of machinery
Support maintenance and repair activities
Maintain engine room equipment and work areas
Assist during machinery overhauls and routine maintenance
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Follow engine room HSE and environmental requirements
Requirements
Previous experience as Oiler
Previous experience on offshore vessels preferred
Drillship experience is an advantage
Valid engine rating qualifications and STCW certificates
Valid Seaman’s Book, passport, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical and safety awareness
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational offshore crew
