A leading offshore drilling contractor is seeking an experienced Assistant Crane Operator to join a Jack-Up Rig operating in the United Kingdom sector.
The successful candidate will assist with crane operations, lifting activities, cargo handling, equipment inspections, and deck support operations while ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards and lifting procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with offshore crane and lifting operations
Support cargo handling and deck activities
Conduct equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Assist in preparing lifting plans and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with lifting procedures and HSE requirements
Participate in safety meetings and drills
Maintain lifting equipment documentation
Requirements
United Kingdom Nationality
Previous offshore crane or lifting experience preferred
Valid offshore certifications relevant to the role
Valid offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
