Reliant Oilfield is seeking an experienced Assistant Barge Master to support offshore barge and marine operations.
The successful candidate will assist the Barge Master with daily operations, deck activities, personnel coordination, safety, and equipment readiness.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with daily barge operations.
Support deck and marine activities.
Monitor ballast and operational equipment.
Assist with crew and contractor coordination.
Support lifting and cargo operations.
Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Assist with inspections and emergency drills.
Maintain operational readiness and documentation.
Requirements
Previous experience as Assistant Barge Master or similar offshore role.
Offshore barge / construction vessel experience preferred.
Relevant marine qualification.
Valid STCW certification where applicable.
Valid offshore safety certificates.
Valid Passport and Medical Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Strong teamwork and safety awareness.
Physically fit for offshore work.
