An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced 3rd Assistant Engineer to join offshore oil and gas operations in Namibia.
The successful candidate will support engine room operations, machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections while ensuring safe and efficient vessel performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
Perform planned maintenance activities
Troubleshoot mechanical and auxiliary systems
Maintain engineering records and reports
Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
Ensure compliance with marine engineering standards
Requirements
Previous offshore experience in a similar engineering position
Valid engineering certification appropriate to rank
Valid Seaman's Book
OPITO BOSIET certification
Valid offshore medical certificate
Yellow Fever vaccination
COVID vaccination certificate
Good English communication skills
