Job Description:
A private motor yacht based in Sydney is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a long-term position. This role offers a stable work-life balance with a 5-day working week and 2 days off. The candidate may live on or off the vessel while in Sydney.
The vessel is equipped with MTU V16 396 engines and a jet propulsion system.
Candidate Requirements:
• MCA Y3 or higher OR AMSA MED 2 or higher
• MTU engine course or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong skills in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Must be an Australian or New Zealander, or hold Australian working rights
• Ideally located in Australia
• Excellent references – 3 references will be verified
