MYS Aust is currently seeking an experienced Chase Boat Captain to join a Private Motor Yacht operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of the yacht's chase boat, guest transportation, water sports support, tender maintenance, and assisting the deck department with daily yacht operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and guest service.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced tender captains with previous luxury yacht experience.
Job Responsibilities
Operate the chase boat safely during guest transfers
Support water sports and recreational activities
Conduct navigation and passage planning for chase boat operations
Perform routine maintenance of the chase boat and equipment
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and tender operations
Support deck maintenance and exterior upkeep
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations
Requirements
Previous experience as Chase Boat Captain onboard Private or Motor Yachts
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Boatmaster or appropriate Certificate of Competency
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong navigation and tender handling skills
Excellent guest service and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for sea service
