A prestigious private/charter Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced Captain to take overall command of the vessel and ensure safe, efficient, and professional yacht operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for navigation, crew management, safety, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service to owners and guests.
Key Responsibilities
• Take overall command of the yacht and crew
• Ensure safe navigation and vessel operations
• Manage and supervise all departments onboard
• Ensure compliance with Flag State, ISM, STCW, and company requirements
• Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and safety management
• Coordinate with owners, guests, management, and shore-based representatives
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and discretion
Requirements
• Valid Master / Captain Certificate of Competency appropriate to the yacht
• Proven Captain experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical certificate
• Valid Passport and relevant yacht documentation
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Previous luxury/private or charter yacht experience preferred
