A leading yacht recruitment company is currently seeking an experienced Captain to join a Motor Yacht operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will have overall command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation, guest satisfaction, crew leadership, regulatory compliance, and the efficient operation of all onboard departments while maintaining the highest standards of luxury yacht service.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced yacht Captains with previous Motor Yacht command experience.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain overall command of the yacht
Ensure safe navigation and voyage planning
Lead and supervise all onboard departments
Maintain compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM, and Flag State regulations
Coordinate guest operations and itinerary planning
Manage budgets, provisioning, and vessel administration
Conduct safety drills and emergency response procedures
Promote exceptional guest service and operational excellence
Requirements
Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW certification package
Previous Motor Yacht experience as Captain
Valid passport and medical certificate
Excellent English communication skills
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
High standards of professionalism and guest service
Physically and medically fit for sea service
