A unique opportunity is available for a professional and adventurous captain with a strong passion for surfing to take command of a 35m+ private motor yacht based on the West Coast of the United States.
The right candidate will be hands-on, technically skilled, and confident navigating Pacific coast waters, with a genuine enthusiasm for remote cruising and surf culture.

Private use only, no charter
Cruising itinerary includes California, Baja, and surf destinations along the Pacific coastline
The owner is a keen surfer and values a captain with similar interests
Professional but relaxed environment with a strong focus on exploration and water sports
Minimum Master 500GT
Solid experience as captain on vessels 35m+
Strong leadership, crew management, and communication skills
Confident handling in swell-prone anchorages and remote surf zones
In-depth knowledge of surf spots, swell patterns, and safe water access
Technical and engineering oversight is expected as part of the role
Prior experience cruising the West Coast, Baja, or Central America preferred
A package of $8,000 - $10,000 is on offer with 60 days leave
