Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bosun to join a 60m+ private, new build expedition motor yacht. The vessel is in the final stages of construction, and the selected candidate will play an important role in setup and logistics before launch.
The ideal candidate will have previous new build experience, as well as strong knowledge of expedition-style yachting. Once launched, the yacht will be world cruising, offering a unique opportunity for someone adventurous and passionate about exploration.
Please note: Due to the yacht’s current location in a European shipyard, only EU passport holders may apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with setup, logistics, and final preparations of the new build vessel
• Leading the deck team and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Overseeing deck maintenance, safety procedures, and water sports activities
• Supporting expedition cruising activities and off-the-beaten-track operations
• Working closely with senior officers and preparing for OOW progression
Requirements:
• Valid STCW 95/2010 certificates
• Valid ENG 1 Medical Fitness Certificate
• Yacht Master Offshore certificate (OOW in progress preferred)
• Strong new build yacht experience
• Expedition-style yacht experience required
• MUST be an EU Passport Holder (Schengen Visa not accepted)
• Fluent English communication skills
Employment Details:
• Contract: Full-time, world cruising after launch
• Salary: EUR €5,000–5,500 DOE
• Leave: 60 days
• Joining Date: 1–2 weeks
• Joining Location: Netherlands
