A 45m+ private and charter motor yacht with light charter use and heavy owner use during summer (day trips, regattas, standby). The vessel participates in classic regattas and winters in the Bahamas while spending summers in Maine. Connected to a sailing program, making this an ideal position for candidates with a sailing background — though it’s not essential.
Position Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bosun to step up into a rotational First Mate/Officer role on a reputable yacht with a great crew and program.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of solid experience (including Bosun rank)
ompetent tender driving skills
Male candidate (due to cabin arrangements)
Yachtmaster Offshore minimum, OOW preferred
Valid B1/B2 visa (essential)
All STCW and related certificates up to date
Sailing background – advantageous but not mandatory
Contract Details:
Type: Rotational (10 weeks on / 10 weeks off)
Salary: USD 4,500/month
