A private/charter Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced 1st Mate to assist the Captain with safe vessel operations, navigation, deck management, and crew supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Captain with navigation and yacht operations
• Supervise deck crew and daily deck activities
• Coordinate mooring, anchoring, tender, and deck operations
• Oversee deck maintenance and safety equipment
• Participate in emergency drills and safety management
• Support guest activities and yacht presentation
Requirements:
• Previous 1st Mate experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts preferred
• Valid deck officer CoC
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent medical certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman's Book where applicable
• Strong navigation and leadership skills
• Good English communication skills
• Professional and guest-focused attitude
