- At least 1 year of experience as a Mate on a similar-sized vessel. OR an experienced Second Officer with strong leadership skills and operational knowledge of yacht navigation, safety procedures, and crew management.
- Familiarity with both private and charter operations.
- Proficient in managing guest experience and working closely with other departments like interior and engineering.
- Competent in bridge management, passage planning, and chart work, along with strong watchkeeping abilities.
- Ability to lead deck crew and ensure smooth onboard operations.
- Experience providing training on safety protocols, navigation skills, and overall professional development.
- Must be willing to actively participate on deck and collaborate effectively with the deck crew.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with crew, guests, and third-party services.
