A stunning 60m sailing yacht with outstanding owners and a long-standing, professional crew is seeking an experienced 1st Mate (Chief Officer) to join their deck department.

As the 1st Mate, you will be responsible for overseeing deck operations, navigation duties, safety management, crew supervision, and maintaining high operational standards on board. You will assist the Captain in all deck and bridge functions and ensure smooth day-to-day vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily deck operations and maintenance
Manage and supervise deck crew
Assist with all navigation, watchkeeping, and passage planning
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
Maintain deck equipment and sailing gear
Support Captain in vessel operations and crew coordination
Lead by example and foster a positive team culture
Qualifications & Requirements
STCW 95/2010
ENG1 Medical Certificate
MCA Master <200 GT / OOW <500 GT (or equivalent: Merchant Navy, USCG, AMSA)
2–5 years of yachting experience, preferably on large sailing yachts
Strong leadership and communication skills
Professional attitude and desire to work within a high-performing team
Non-US flagged vessel – open to international candidates
