Job Description
A prestigious Luxury Motor Yacht operating in European waters is seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead the interior housekeeping department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the yacht's interior to the highest luxury standards, supervising housekeeping staff, organizing daily cleaning schedules, managing inventories, and ensuring exceptional presentation for owners and guests.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced hospitality professionals with previous superyacht, luxury hotel, or cruise ship experience.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise all housekeeping operations onboard
Maintain guest cabins, crew accommodations, and public areas to luxury standards
Organize daily housekeeping schedules and staff assignments
Manage housekeeping inventories, linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
Train and mentor interior crew members
Coordinate with the Chief Steward(ess) and Captain regarding guest requirements
Maintain compliance with onboard safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as Head of Housekeeping onboard Motor Yachts, Superyachts, Cruise Ships, or Luxury Hotels
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport
Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical certificate
Excellent English communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent guest service and hospitality standards
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Physically and medically fit for sea service
