Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Sous / 2nd Chef to join a busy motor yacht operating worldwide. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in preparing high-quality meals for guests and crew, maintaining galley standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated chef to further develop their skills within a professional yacht environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Head Chef with guest and crew meal preparation
• Managing galley hygiene and stock control
• Planning and preparing menus based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Supporting provisioning and inventory management during trips
• Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards in line with regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW 95/2010 certificates
• Valid ENG 1 Medical Fitness Certificate
• Visas: B1/B2 and Schengen (essential)
• Fluency in English communication
• Culinary training and prior yacht or luxury hospitality experience preferred
