Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join a 42m+ private Motor Yacht with an exciting and adventurous itinerary. The owners enjoy fresh, healthy cuisine, focusing on portion control and mindful calorie intake. Creativity in preparing nutritious and beautifully presented meals is key. You'll be working with a fantastic crew and lovely owners who value professionalism, teamwork, and a positive onboard atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare fresh, healthy, and nutritious meals according to the owner's preferences
• Focus on portion control and mindful calorie intake without compromising on taste and presentation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the galley
• Collaborate with the rest of the crew to ensure smooth daily operations
• Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations
• Plan and manage provisions, maintaining inventory control
Requirements for Application:
• Valid STCW/ENG1 certification
• Strong professional Chef experience, preferably with some yachting experience (though proven sea legs are a must)
• No visible tattoos
• Creativity and passion for preparing healthy, delicious meals
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain professionalism under pressure
Package & Benefits:
• Salary: $6000 per month (DOE)
• Annual Leave: 30 days (with additional leave at Captain/Owner’s discretion)
